This small 8-room property is a tranquil riverside retreat that combines elegant comfort, warm unobtrusive service and fabulous home-cooking. It is a peaceful oasis but also base for a unique variety of activities, from countryside walks, boat rides, cooking demos and yoga, to cultural and natural excursions such as to the World Heritage Khajuraho temples and the Panna National Park. The owners are both committed conservationists and also run a small trust, Baavan (Bagh Aap Aur VAN) dedicated to environmental education, clean-up initiatives, health camps and livelihood improvement programmes.
